Infrastructure Cloud Engineer Location: Hybrid - Leatherhead, Surrey (2-3 days onsite) Contract: Inside IR35 Day rate: Up to £540 per day Duration: 6 months (likely to extend) Start date: ASAP Key skills: Azure, Cloud, 3rd line Support, Microsoft 365 Our Client requires an experienced Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to join their existing join the Cloud Services team. This is an Infrastructure Engineering role working in a large Enterprise environment with circa 5500 users and an extensive Cloud footprint. This role is primary project based with around 70% of your time being dedicated to project work and 30% being dedicated to reactive support. Technical Skills: - Have existing knowledge of the following technologies: - o Azure o Microsoft 365 o Microsoft Defender (for Cloud, O365, Identity & Email) o Intune Device Management o Exchange/SMTP/365 messaging support & administration o Zero trust technologies such as Zscaler, o Windows 11 and Windows server. - Investigate and resolve 3rd line support issues, working closely with suppliers when required. - Maintain and support the IT Infrastructure in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). - Support change delivery utilising an ITIL service management framework - Have demonstratable experience in larger scale environments (1000+ users). - Knowledge of IT Security and compliance policies and procedures. - Knowledge of automation is beneficial using tools such as Copilot and PowerShell. - Excellent written and verbal skills. - Lead role in managing suppliers and ensuring that we get the best value and performance with them
