Service Advisor

Winchester | £27,000 - £36,000 OTE | Full-Time Permanent

I'm currently representing a well-established and highly respected automotive retailer in Hampshire who are looking to add a Service Advisor to their busy aftersales team in Winchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and being the crucial link between customers and the workshop.

The Role

As a Service Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for servicing, maintenance, and repairs. You'll manage the customer journey from booking through to completion, ensuring a smooth and professional experience throughout.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering exceptional customer service at every stage of the process.
• Booking vehicles in for servicing and repair work.
• Providing accurate estimates and keeping customers updated on progress.
• Liaising with technicians and the workshop to monitor job status.
• Managing customer records and service documentation.
• Preparing invoices and processing payments.
• Supporting warranty and goodwill claim administration.
• Advising customers on additional products and services where appropriate.

About You

We're keen to speak with individuals who:

• Have previous experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Are highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have strong attention to detail.
• Are confident using computer systems.
• Can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Automotive service experience would be advantageous, but applicants with transferable customer service and administrative experience are also encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:45 (1-hour lunch break)
