JHE & Partners are excited to be working exclusively with a fantastic business based near Harrogate as they look to recruit an experienced Management Accountant on a permanent basis. Supporting the FC, the successful candidate will play a key role in the organisation, responsible for bringing together the monthly management accounts, whilst maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. This is a company with real energy, purpose and enthusiasm, so it is essential we find someone who will thrive in this environment.

Key duties will include:

• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly cashflow forecasting
• Production of a variety of reports each month relating to operations
• VAT Returns
• Sales reports
• Assisting with annual audit and the preparation of statutory accounts
• Supporting the senior leadership as required

Experience and skill set required:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Proven track record in similar positions
• Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills with business partnering experience
• Strong organisational, problem solving and analytical skills
• A genuine enthusiasm and positivity for work, process improvement and working as part of a successful team
