The Role – English Teacher As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across the secondary English curriculum, supporting students' learning and academic progress. Teach English across KS3 and KS4. Deliver pre-planned lessons for day-to-day cover or plan and prepare lessons for longer-term placements. Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management. Encourage student engagement and positive learning outcomes. Work collaboratively with teaching staff and departments. What We're Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or equivalent. Experience teaching English within a secondary school. Good knowledge of the English curriculum. Strong classroom management and communication skills. A reliable, adaptable and professional approach.
