My client is looking to strengthen their existing team!

Basic salary £30,000–£45,000 DOE + OTE £55,000

Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00, with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings!

My client is looking for a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician to join a well-established automotive business, with a competitive basic salary dependent on qualifications, experience and accreditation level.

Candidates from both main dealer and independent garage backgrounds will be considered. Previous in-brand experience would be advantageous, with higher basic salaries available for technicians holding Accredited, PRO, Diagnostic or Master Technician status.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and vehicle inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete major and minor repairs to a high standard.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and determine appropriate repair solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and any issues identified.
• Ensure all work is carried out efficiently and in line with manufacturer standards.

Key Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent.
• Experience carrying out a wide range of vehicle repairs.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and fault-finding skills.
• Accredited, PRO, Diagnostic or Master Technician status would be advantageous.
• Previous main dealer or in-brand experience would be beneficial.
• Experience with electrical diagnostics and hybrid/electric vehicles would be an advantage.

The Package

• Basic salary of £30,000–£45,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.
• Performance-related bonus with excellent additional earning potential.
• Saturday mornings worked 1 in 3, from 08:00–13:00, paid at 1.5 times the normal rate.
• Monday to Friday working hours of 08:00–17:00.
