We are looking for a teacher who can bring Science to life in the classroom and encourage students to become curious, confident and engaged learners. The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering Biology, Chemistry and Physics, with opportunities to focus on your particular Science specialism depending on experience and the needs of the department. The Role As a Science Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 Teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics across the curriculum Create lessons that encourage curiosity and scientific thinking Assess and monitor student progress Adapt teaching to support students with different abilities and learning needs Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment Support students with examination preparation where required Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department Contribute positively to the wider school community The Ideal Candidate We would love to hear from Science Teachers who: Hold QTS, QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Have strong Science subject knowledge Are confident teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 Have a specialism in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or General Science Can plan engaging and differentiated lessons Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills Are passionate about helping students achieve their potential Are reliable, organised and enthusiastic Work well as part of a department and wider school team Applications are welcomed from both experienced Science Teachers and ECTs.
