School Cleaner Requirement: Must have an Enhanced DBS on the updated service or willing to pay for one. We are currently seeking a school cleaner to work at a partnered school in the Grantham NG31 area on a temporary ongoing basis. As a School Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the school facilities. This position involves a range of cleaning duties to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for all members of the school community. Duties include: * Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, corridors, and other school areas. * Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors as required. * Clean and disinfect washrooms and replenish supplies (e.g., soap, toilet paper). * Ensure washroom facilities are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. * Empty and dispose of waste bins and recyclable materials. * Clean windows, mirrors, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents. * Assist with periodic cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of carpets and floor polishing. The successful candidates will: * Previous experience in cleaning, preferably in a school or commercial environment, is advantageous but not essential. * Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is desirable. * Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning tasks. * Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a dynamic environment. * Flexible working hours, full time / part time hours available.
