Our client is a well-established supplier of protection equipment. With a turnover of around £10 million a year, the business is looking to grow. They need a driven field salesperson to take ownership of the existing customer base and open new doors alongside it. The Field Sales Executive will play a key role in maintaining strong relationships with customers, building new account and growing revenue and ensuring their requirements are met efficiently. As a Field Sales Executive you will be responding to customers enquiries and quotations, maintaining databases and supporting Business development managers. This is a true field sales position. You’ll be given a list of established customers to visit, retain and grow, while also prospecting for new business. The company wants someone who can hit the ground running, engages people quickly and makes things happen.

Field Sales Executive responsibilities:

• Generate quotes, respond to inquiries, and provide pre- and post-sales support to close deals and drive revenue
• Own an existing portfolio of customer accounts, visiting regularly to protect and grow revenue
• Prospect and win new business across your territory and in Europe
• Travel throughout the UK and Europe to meet customers face to face, present the range and negotiate orders
• Grow current accounts through range expansion, repeat orders and cross-selling
• Analyse data, identify trends, and propose solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
• Keep accurate records of visits, opportunities, quotes and forecasts
• Represent the company professionally at customer sites and trade events
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve company goals and optimize customer experience

Skills & experience required:

• Proven track record in field or B2B sales, with evidence of hitting targets
• Confident, personable and engaging, able to build trust quickly
• Self-starter, comfortable with prospecting and opening new accounts
• Well organised and disciplined when working remotely
• Willing to travel extensively in the UK and Europe
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• CRM and sales reporting experience

Desirable

• Existing contacts in safety, construction, utilities or industrial sectors
