Employment Solicitor

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Job Type: Full time, Monday to Friday

A well-established South Yorkshire law firm is looking to recruit an Employment Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Employment Fee Earner to join its growing team in Doncaster.

This is a varied role offering the opportunity to manage your own caseload and work closely with both employer and employee clients. You’ll deal with a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, with plenty of client contact and the opportunity to develop your experience further.

The role will include:

• Managing your own caseload of employment matters
• Advising on unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing claims
• Handling redundancy and settlement agreements
• Advising on disciplinary and grievance matters
• Drafting employment contracts and workplace policies
• Providing practical HR and risk management advice to business clients
• Representing clients in Employment Tribunal matters where required

The firm is looking for someone with solid employment law experience who is comfortable managing their own caseload and dealing directly with clients. You’ll need good technical knowledge, strong communication skills and a practical approach to providing commercially focused advice.
