Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity within a supportive school environment? Zest Education is currently working with schools across Coventry that are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their teams on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who enjoys supporting pupils both academically and personally. Furthermore, you will work closely with class teachers to help create a positive and engaging learning environment. In addition, you will support pupils throughout the school day, encouraging confidence, participation, and progress. As a result, you will play an important role in helping children reach their full potential.

The Role

• Provide support to pupils within the classroom
• Assist teachers with the delivery of lessons and learning activities
• Deliver 1:1 and small group support where required
• Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
• Support positive behaviour and classroom routines
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff

Skills and Experience

• Previous classroom-based experience is essential
• SEND experience is desirable
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
