At Fujitec UK, we're in the business of keeping people moving. As part of an international lift and escalator business, we combine global expertise with a close-knit UK team that takes pride in what it does.

We're looking for an organised, upbeat and detail-focused Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Finance team for six months. We're introducing new finance systems and using this period to establish our longer-term needs. While that work progresses, you'll help keep our day-to-day finance operations running smoothly.

What you'll be doing

• Processing supplier invoices accurately and promptly, including matching them to purchase orders.
• Reconciling supplier statements, investigating discrepancies and keeping the purchase ledger up to date.
• Preparing information for supplier payment runs and supporting month-end activities.
• Responding to supplier queries and building positive relationships with colleagues across Finance, Purchasing and Operations.
• Allocating costs correctly to departments, contracts and projects, and maintaining reliable financial records.
• Helping the team maintain strong controls and efficient processes during the finance systems transition.

What you'll bring

• Practical experience in accounts payable, purchase ledger or a similar finance administration role.
• Confidence using accounting systems, Microsoft Excel and everyday office applications.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy and organisational skills.
• A proactive approach to solving problems and managing competing priorities.
• A friendly, collaborative attitude and the ability to get up to speed quickly.

Experience in engineering, construction or a service-based business would be helpful, but it isn't essential. An AAT qualification is welcome, not required.

The details

• Location: Dartford, Kent
• Contract: six months, fixed term
• Salary: £28,000-£32,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience
• Working hours and start date: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm with a 4.30pm finish on Fridays
