Traffic Operator - Days or Nights

Are you an organised and proactive transport professional looking for your next challenge? We are currently recruiting for experienced Traffic Operators to join a busy and fast-paced transport operation.

We have opportunities available on both day and night shifts:

Available Shifts

Option A - Day Traffic Operator

• Monday to Friday or
• 4 on, 4 off day shift pattern

Option B - Night Traffic Operator

• Monday to Friday nights

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating daily transport operations
• Managing driver schedules and vehicle allocations
• Monitoring vehicle movements and responding to operational issues
• Ensuring compliance with driver hours, WTD, and transport legislation
• Communicating effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams
• Managing route planning and maximising fleet efficiency
• Updating transport management systems and maintaining accurate records
• Providing excellent customer service and problem-solving support

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a transport, traffic, or logistics planning role
• Strong geographical knowledge and route planning skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Good IT skills and experience using transport management systems
• Knowledge of transport compliance and driver regulations is advantageous
