Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer Location: Peterborough Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Shift: 3-shift rotation - 2 weeks earlies, 2 weeks nights, 2 weeks lates Industry: FMCG / Manufacturing Type: Permanent I'm currently recruiting for an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Peterborough. This is a hands-on maintenance role where you'll be responsible for keeping production machinery and equipment running reliably, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance and helping minimise downtime across the site. The Role Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults Troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, motors, drives and control systems Complete preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise production downtime Work closely with production and engineering teams Support continuous improvement and reliability projects Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and to site standards About You Electrical bias maintenance background Ideally Level 3 Electrical / Engineering qualification Previous experience working within FMCG, food, packaging or a similar high-volume manufacturing environment Strong fault-finding ability Comfortable working on both electrical and mechanical equipment Experience with PLCs, sensors, motors, inverters/drives etc. Happy working a rotating 3-shift pattern What's on Offer £45,000 - £50,000 salary Permanent position Structured 3-shift rotation Opportunity to work within an established FMCG manufacturing environment Good opportunity for further training and development If you're an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a new opportunity in Peterborough, get in touch for more information
