Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant or Purchase Ledger professional looking for a new hybrid opportunity for a global business with an excellent people driven culture?

Our client is looking for an organised and detail-focused Accounts Assistant to join their Finance team. You’ll take responsibility for a varied range of Purchase Ledger activities, working closely with suppliers and colleagues across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing purchase invoices and credit notes
• Maintaining supplier accounts and keeping payment details and terms up to date
• Handling supplier queries and resolving invoice, payment and statement discrepancies
• Preparing supplier payment runs and ensuring payments are correctly authorised
• Completing supplier statement reconciliations and investigating outstanding items
• Processing company credit card transactions and employee expenses
• Supporting month end activities, including reconciliations, journals and accruals
• Assisting with audit requirements and maintaining accurate Purchase Ledger records

Who They’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in Purchase Ledger or a similar finance role
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Confident communication skills when dealing with suppliers and internal teams
• Good problem-solving skills, particularly around invoices, payments and reconciliations
• Experience using ERP system is desirable
