Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a Cover Supervisor for a large and busy secondary school located in Hackney. This role is perfect for individuals with prior experience as a Cover Supervisor within UK secondary schools, who are adept at managing classroom activities and maintaining a productive learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the teacher.
• Ensure that the classroom remains a safe and supportive environment for learning.
• Assist students with their work as set by the teacher and clarify task instructions.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and ensure students remain engaged.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and classroom activities.
• Liaise with teachers and staff to ensure continuity of education and care.

• Proven experience as a Cover Supervisor in UK secondary schools.
