Reed Education is working with a highly successful secondary school seeking an enthusiastic, passionate and creative Teacher of Design & Technology with a Product Design specialism to join their thriving Technology Department from January 2027. This is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking to begin their career within a supportive and high-performing department.

The Role

As Teacher of Design & Technology, you will:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring Product Design lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Encourage creativity, innovation and practical problem-solving skills
• Contribute to a highly successful and collaborative Technology Department
• Support students in achieving excellent outcomes and developing a passion for Design & Technology
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement and achievement

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A specialism in Product Design or Design & Technology
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
• ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
