The role

This is an end-to-end machinist role where you'll take ownership from drawing through to finished part:

• Program, set and operate CNC machines to produce precision components
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work to specified tolerances
• Select suitable tooling, speeds, feeds and machining methods
• Inspect your own work and maintain consistent accuracy throughout production
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to keep jobs progressing
• Take responsibility for completing work efficiently and meeting agreed deadlines
• Communicate clearly with colleagues to support production and resolve issues promptly
• Maintain a safe, tidy and organised working area

What we're looking for

• Strong, proven experience in CNC programming, setting and operating
• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC machines with Fanuc controls
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and use initiative
• Practical, proactive approach to solving problems and getting work completed
• Able to balance speed and productivity with accuracy, quality and safe working practices
• Reliable, hardworking and confident taking responsibility for your work
• A genuine team player with a positive, professional attitude and openness to feedback

What we offer

• £40,000 to £45,000 annual salary, depending on skills and experience
• Working hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm
