This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced primary teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons, raising attainment and preparing pupils for a successful transition to secondary school. The Role: Taking full responsibility for a Year 6 class. Planning and delivering engaging, creative and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum. Preparing pupils for their SATs assessments. Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs. Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment. Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents. Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development as they prepare for secondary school. The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6. Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation. Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills. A passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning. Available to start in January 2027 and commit to a full-time position.
