The Role

As a PMLD Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to help pupils access learning, develop communication and participate in everyday school life.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting individualised learning activities tailored to pupils' needs and abilities.
• Helping pupils communicate their choices, needs and preferences.
• Encouraging engagement through sensory-based and practical activities.
• Supporting transitions, daily routines and the development of independence.
• Providing personal care where required.
• Helping pupils access physical activities and sensory experiences.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to support each pupil's individual development.

Who Should Apply?
