Job Role: Mechanical Service Engineer Location: Brighouse (UK Travel included) Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience) Metalis are working with a well established business in Brighouse, who are looking for a Mechanical Service Engineer to join their team. Job Duties: * Install, maintain and repair complex industrial machine tools and CNC equipment * Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults * Respond to machine breakdowns and ensure minimal production downtime for customers * Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules * Install and commission new machine tools at customer facilities * Conduct machine tool relocations and accuracy verifications * Generate clear service reports detailing work performed, fault root causes, and parts used * Liaise with internal technical support * Rebuild and refurbish mechanical components including spindles, ball screws, bearings, and guideways Job Requirements: * Apprentice trained or relevant engineering qualifications * 3+ years' hands on experience * Able to read and work from engineering drawings * Knowledge of CNC control systems Salary, Shift & Benefits: * £35,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience) * Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4:30pm & Friday, 8am - 3pm * Company pension shceme * Life insurance * Company car * Uniform * Opportunities for progression and career development If this role is of interest to you, please apply with your CV
