SC Cleared - SAP S/4HANA PS (Project System) Functional Consultant

6 month Contract | Greenfield SAP S/4HANA Implementation

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Project System (PS) Functional Consultant to join a large-scale greenfield SAP transformation programme. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP PS, supporting end-to-end project lifecycle management across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA Project System (PS) in a greenfield implementation environment.
• Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder workshops.
• Design project structures including WBS elements, networks, milestones, budgeting, planning, and project costing.
• Configure and test SAP PS functionality, ensuring alignment with business processes and best practice.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Procurement, Asset Management, and PMO teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support integration with SAP modules including FI/CO, MM, SD, and EAM/PM.
• Produce functional specifications and support development teams during build activities.
• Lead SIT, UAT, defect resolution, cutover planning, and hypercare support.
• Provide knowledge transfer and end-user training.

Required Experience

• Proven experience delivering SAP PS functional consultancy on at least one full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, costing, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management within SAP PS.
• Experience working on greenfield transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of PS integration points with FI/CO, MM, PM/EAM, and SAP reporting solutions.
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
• Experience of Agile and/or SAP Activate methodologies.

Desirable

• SAP S/4HANA certification.
• Experience within engineering, construction, utilities, manufacturing, or capital-intensive industries.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications and reporting.
