Salary: £35,000 plus £2,000 tronc

Join the kitchen team at a luxury Ipswich hotel, home to a 2 AA Rosette restaurant. You’ll work alongside a close-knit brigade of seven chefs, preparing high-quality dishes for hotel guests and local diners.

The role

• Work across a range of kitchen sections and build your skills
• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chefs in delivering high-standard service
• Help prepare and deliver restaurant, banqueting and function menus
• Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, organisation and presentation
• Contribute to seasonal menu development and daily preparation

About you

• You have experience as a Chef de Partie in a Rosette or quality fresh-food kitchen
• You enjoy cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients and using modern techniques
• You’re organised and can stay focused during busy services
• You have an NVQ in Catering or equivalent experience
• You’re keen to learn, progress and continue developing your skills
• A car is essential if you plan to commute
