The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils in the classroom, helping them to engage with lessons and achieve their learning goals.
• Work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.
• Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Support children with varying learning needs, including those with additional needs where appropriate.
• Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources.
• Encourage pupils' confidence, independence, and social development.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, care, youth work, or similar setting is desirable.
• A positive, patient, and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essential for the right candidate.
