Our client, a leading organisation in the defence and security sector, is seeking a Senior Project Professional - Delivery to support the successful execution of complex submarine-related projects in Barrow. This six-month contract role is full time on site and offers the opportunity to contribute to critical delivery programmes within a highly regulated engineering environment. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of complex defence projects Monitoring project progress, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies Maintaining accurate project documentation, schedules and performance reports Working closely with engineering, operational and project management teams Co-ordinating project activities to ensure delivery remains aligned with agreed objectives Identifying potential delivery risks and supporting appropriate mitigation plans Communicating project updates to internal stakeholders and contributing to governance reviews Job Requirements: Significant experience in project delivery, project management or project controls Strong understanding of project planning, reporting and delivery methodologies Experience managing risks, issues, actions and project dependencies Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities Ability to work effectively in a complex, highly regulated defence or engineering environment Proficiency in relevant project management tools and reporting systems Willingness and ability to work full time on site in Barrow Contract Details: Six-month contract Location: Barrow Working arrangement: Full time on siteDue to security restrictions we can only consider candidates who are Sole British Nationals!
