Mechanical Engineer Location: Liverpool Salary: Competitive Contract: Permanent | Full-time We’re recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management team on a prestigious commercial contract. This is a great opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer looking for a stable site-based role, working across a varied range of mechanical building services with a strong focus on PPM and reactive maintenance. The Role As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for: * Mechanical PPM and reactive maintenance * Heating and air-conditioning systems * Pumps, motors and valves * Domestic water systems and L8 compliance * Fault finding and reactive repairs * Maintaining accurate CAFM records * Working safely to RAMS and site procedures * Building strong relationships with the client and engineering team What We're Looking For * Formal mechanical engineering qualification * Previous FM / Building Services experience * Experience with pumps, motors and valves * Knowledge of L8 and general H&S requirements * BMS experience desirable * Good IT and CAFM experience * Strong customer service skills * Full UK Driving Licence The Package * Permanent position * Monday-Friday working * Stable, long-term contract * Strong training and development opportunities * Supportive engineering environment * Out-of-hours standby/call-out rota If you're an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking for a varied Facilities Management role with long-term stability, we'd love to hear from you.
