£36,000 to £48,000 per annum (DOE) | Permanent, full time

Real responsibility on assignments, with a clear next step. A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in High Wycombe is looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified Audit Senior.

You’d run assignments from planning through to completion across a varied portfolio, bring on the junior team and build relationships directly with clients. The firm’s client base covers a good spread of sectors and business sizes, so the work stays technically varied. The team is collaborative and there’s a clear route to Assistant Manager. What’s the day to day of the role:

• Taking audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Preparing and reviewing audit files to a high technical standard
• Supervising and coaching the junior members of the audit team
• Being the client’s main point of contact through the audit
• Reporting findings and recommendations to managers and partners

Required skills and qualifications:

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or close to it, with a strong audit background
• At least three years’ experience within a UK Practice environment
• Experience leading audits and supervising junior staff
• Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks
• Confident with clients and well organised across several assignments at once
