Senior Geotechnical Engineer London £50,000 - £60,000 A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to add a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to their London team. This is a varied role working across a range of projects, with the opportunity to take on more responsibility and progress your career within a strong technical team. The Role: Manage geotechnical projects from investigation through to design and construction Undertake geotechnical design for foundations, retaining walls, basements, slopes and earthworks Review ground investigation information and produce technical reports Complete geotechnical calculations and analysis Work closely with clients, contractors and other design disciplines Provide technical support to junior engineers Attend site visits and provide technical input during construction Support tenders, proposals and client meetingsThe Candidate: Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or a related subject Strong experience within geotechnical consultancy Previous geotechnical design experience Good understanding of UK ground conditions and relevant standards Experience with PLAXIS, WALLAP or similar software would be beneficial Chartered or working towards chartership is desirable Good communication skills and the ability to manage projects independentlyThe Package: Competitive salary Strong benefits package Varied project portfolio Clear progression opportunities Support towards professional development and chartership
