Marketing Graduate

Fully funded Marketing qualification | Monthly bonus | Croydon | Mon-Fri

Think creatively. Act commercially. Deliver results.

Overview of the position

Redwood is seeking a creative and commercially minded Marketing Graduate to join a structured development programme combining formal training, hands-on experience, cross-departmental exposure and increasing responsibility.

During the first 12 months, you will complete the Marketing Graduate Scheme and marketing qualification, developing the practical, technical and commercial skills needed to take a marketing brief from concept through to delivery. The remaining 12 months will focus on applying and developing these skills within the Marketing team.

Why we exist

At Redwood, we believe debt collection should empower businesses, not burden them. Our mission is to help clients grow stronger by taking on the responsibility of debt recovery, allowing them to focus on growing their business.

How we achieve our mission

Working with the Marketing Team and colleagues across Redwood, you will support live marketing activity while developing your skills through structured training, practical projects and regular feedback.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Content creation

Support content across websites, social media, email and other channels, adapting messaging for different audiences and Redwood’s tone of voice.

  • Campaign support & delivery

Assist with marketing campaigns across organic and paid channels, supporting lead generation and commercial objectives.

  • Analytics and insight

Monitor marketing performance using analytics, CRM reporting and campaign data to support future activity.

  • Email marketing

Support email campaigns, customer journeys, audience segmentation and CRM activity.

  • Projects & cross-functional collaboration

Work with teams across Redwood on marketing projects, events and initiatives, taking increasing ownership as you develop.

What will you bring?

You are naturally curious, creative and keen to build a career in marketing. You are willing to learn, comfortable receiving feedback and interested in understanding how marketing supports a commercial business.

  • Education & interest in marketing: Ideally, you will hold a 2:1 or above degree in Marketing, Business or a related subject; with a genuine interest in marketing demonstrated through studies, projects or other activities.
  • Portfolio & creativity: A portfolio of relevant work from university, college, placements, internships, employment or projects completed in your own time.
  • Communication & attention to detail: Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
  • Initiative & development: Able to interpret briefs, use initiative, develop ideas and positively apply constructive feedback.
  • Organisation & ownership: Organised, able to manage deadlines and willing to take increasing responsibility for your work.
  • Commercial awareness: Interested in Redwood’s services, audiences and objectives, with the ability to work collaboratively across the business.

The Graduate Scheme

The first 12 months will follow a structured development plan, with formal reviews at six, nine and twelve months in addition to Redwood’s standard three-month probation process.

As part of the scheme, you will work towards a recognised marketing qualification alongside structured internal training and practical, on-the-job development. Training will cover marketing systems and platforms, brand and content, commercial knowledge and cross-departmental exposure. You will work with colleagues across the business to understand Redwood’s services, audiences and commercial objectives.

The marketing qualification will be fully funded by Redwood, subject to a training repayment agreement. Repayment obligations will apply if you leave within the first 24 months of employment, with full terms provided separately.

The scheme is designed to develop the skills and experience required to progress towards a Marketing Executive-level position, subject to successful completion, performance and business requirements.
