Barista - Luxury Car Dealership, Chiswick (Immediate Start) LOCATION: Walking distance from Gunnersbury and Chiswick Park (Underground) and Chiswick (Overground). There is NO on-site parking. Please check your travel route before applying. START TIME: You must arrive at 7:50am, every day. Set-up begins before opening, and the café must be ready to serve from 8:00am. Hours: 7:50am to 6:00pm, Monday to Saturday with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break Pay: £13p/h Contract: Temporary, ongoing shifts through November About the role Customers are welcomed at reception and then guided to the customer café, where the barista is based. You'll be making hot drinks for customers and staff throughout the day and keeping the café area clean. The café is calmer than a high-street coffee shop, so there will be quiet periods when you'll need to work independently. What you'll do Make coffees, teas and other hot drinks to a high standard Serve customers in the café lounge and take their drink requests Keep the café area clean, including clearing mugs, wiping surfaces and running the dishwasher Keep the coffee machine and equipment clean and well maintainedWhat we're looking for Barista experience and confident use of a commercial coffee machine (essential) Good knowledge of coffee and hot drinks Strong spoken communication skills, with the ability to hold polite conversations, understand customer requests clearly and answer basic questions Happy to take on cleaning and dishwasher duties Punctual, reliable and able to start immediatelyTrial: We're interviewing for a trial shift tomorrow, so please only apply if you're available.
