Solar PV Installer Pay -£30,000-£40,000 basic salary, depending on skill, qualifications and experience Location - Based in Sevenoaks, working across the South East / South Hours: Monday -Friday 08:00am – 4:30pm (Occasional early starts, late finishes, or weekend/overtime as projects require) Employment - Permanent, PAYE About Us Flare Electrical & Solar Contractors is an established commercial electrical and renewables contractor based in Sevenoaks. Due to continued growth, we are looking for capable Solar PV installers to support our installation team on commercial installations, battery storage installation and ground mount systems. Role snapshot * Support Solar PV, ground mount and battery installations * DC/AC cabling, containment, panel mounting * Work alongside Lead Installer and Supervisor * Learn commissioning and testing What you’ll be doing * Assisting with PV installs including mounting systems, panels, and inverter set-ups * Running DC & AC cabling and installing containment * Supporting connections, labelling, and tidy final fix * Helping with commissioning, testing, and fault finding * Keeping sites safe, clean, and organised * Taking instruction from Site Manager/Supervisor * Representing Flare professionally on customers’ properties or sites What we need from you * Previous electrical installation experience (not necessarily fully qualified) * Solar PV experience preferred (6–12 months ideal) * ECS card * Professional, positive, team-first attitude * Clean UK driving licence * BPEC Solar qualification is a bonus, not essential What you get * Competitive pay * All travel, accommodation and food covered when working away * On-the-job training and development * Real progression in a fast-growing solar company * Supportive team environment Non-negotiables * Must live within a reasonable commute to Sevenoaks * Happy to travel and work away occasionally (expenses fully covered) Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Company pension, employee discount, free/subsidised travel, free parking, on-site parking
