New Vacancy: Senior Reinsurance Technician - 12M FTC

I am currently partnered with a leading Lloyd's Insurer who are seeking a Senior Reinsurance Technician to join the business on a 12M FTC basis.

This role will be supporting the administration and technical management of reinsurance business. The role will involve overseeing the end-to-end processing of reinsurance contracts, premium and claims processing & more.

My client is looking for an experienced Reinsurance Technician, with strong experience within a similar role in a Lloyd's environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end processing and administration of reinsurance contracts, including contract documentation, endorsements and renewals.
• Oversee premium calculations, bordereaux processing, cash allocation and claims movements, ensuring accuracy and timely settlement.
• Review and interpret reinsurance contract terms and conditions, ensuring records are accurate and compliant with internal procedures.
• Liaise with brokers, cedants, reinsurers and internal underwriting, claims and finance teams to resolve technical queries.
• Monitor outstanding premiums, claims and technical account discrepancies, ensuring effective follow-up and resolution.
• Support reconciliations, reporting, audit requirements and continuous improvement of reinsurance processes.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, helping maintain high standards of accuracy and service delivery.
