Salary: £28,000 per annum

Join a growing warehouse and distribution business as a Warehouse Operative. This role is perfect for someone with experience in warehousing, picking and packing, stock control, or goods-in/goods-out operations who enjoys working within a fast-paced and supportive team environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Picking customer orders accurately using picking sheets or handheld scanners.
• Packing products safely and securely to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Receiving, checking and putting away incoming deliveries.
• Carrying out stock checks and reporting any discrepancies.
• Ensuring orders are dispatched accurately and on time.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
• Following company health and safety procedures at all times.
• Supporting colleagues across different warehouse functions as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience within a warehouse, stores, distribution or fulfilment environment.
• Experience of picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual and dependable approach to work.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic IT skills and experience using warehouse systems would be advantageous.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support colleagues.
