Depot Manager / Warehouse Supervisor – East London Building products / Construction industry Location: Walthamstow, E17 Department: Supply Chain Permanent, full time role, 40 hours per week Salary: Competitive circa £40-45,000 base, plus benefits    Our client is growing, and they are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor / Depot Manager to run their East London (E17) depot within the Supply Chain team. You'll be the senior person on site. You'll lead the small depot team of 2 staff, own stock accuracy, keep customers happy and drive continuous improvement. It's a hands-on leadership role with real ownership and room to grow. You will be working 40 hours per week, 7.30am to 4pm Monday to Thursday with a 3pm finish on a Friday. This role is working in the building products / construction industry.    What you'll be doing: Managing the day-to-day running of the East London depot Leading, supporting and line managing the small on-site team Keeping stock accurate through regular stock checks in line with company policy Optimising stock levels, reorder quantities and costs while maintaining high customer satisfaction Overseeing light production and assembly as required Entering and processing orders through the SAGE system Acting as senior person on site, resolving customer service issues Supporting daily Tier meetings to align the team on priorities and customer needs Managing the maintenance and safe operation of the facility Supporting procurement when needed, including sourcing alternative suppliers and getting quotes Working with the Warehouse Manager (based in another location) to improve operational maturity and 5S standards   What we're looking for: Experience managing a depot, warehouse or stores operation A track record of leading and developing a small team Strong stock control skills, with an eye for accuracy and cost Confidence handling customer issues and making decisions on site Experience with SAGE or a similar order processing or ERP system Knowledge of health and safety and safe site operation An improvement mindset, ideally with exposure to 5S, Lean or Tier meetings Light assembly or production oversight experience would be a bonus   What we offer Competitive salary 33 days' holiday Life assurance at 3x salary 4% pension contribution Access to discounted retailers Employee assistance programme Opportunities for career progression A dynamic, supportive culture   If you're ready to lead a small East London depot, we'd love to hear from you.
