HGV Technician – Back Shift Sheffield · Commercial Vehicle Workshop · Full-time · Permanent Description We have a vacancy for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic to join an established commercial vehicle workshop in Sheffield, working a 4-day back shift. HGV Technician Shift Pattern 4 days per week, 1:30pm to 12:00am (40 hours) HGV Technician Salary = £41,600 per year Depending on Experience + Paid Overtime The HGV Technician Role Service, maintain and repair HGVs, trailers and light commercial vehicles, both franchised and non-franchised Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using manufacturer diagnostic systems Carry out inspections, preventative maintenance and defect repairs Complete job cards, service sheets and online maintenance records HGV Technician Requirements NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (essential) At least 3 years' experience as an HGV Technician or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic LCV experience and an HGV licence are both a bonus HGV Technician Benefits 4-day working week Paid overtime Holiday increasing with service + long service awards Healthcare scheme + cycle to work scheme Training and development opportunities To apply or find out more, contact Aaron at Auto Skills UK
