  • Prepare the quarterly VAT returns and payments.
  • Administer the company's invoice discounting facility, including manual reconciliations to be communicated to the bank.
  • Maintain the cash flow forecast daily, entering forecast payments and reviewing it regularly to ensure adequate funding is available to meet the needs of the business.
  • Prepare and interpret the monthly management accounts, and any reports required by the Board and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Ensure team members have completed their own tasks in a timely and accurate manner before reports are run.
  • Carry out an analytical review of the accounts to ensure the accuracy of cost allocation.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register.
  • Maintain a schedule of future foreign exchange requirements.
  • Cover for the Head of Finance in their absence, and support Credit Control and Purchase Ledger when needed.

Key Requirements

  • Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
  • A background in accounting and the preparation of management accounts.
  • A thorough understanding of financial management and the analysis of data.
  • Experience working with financial software systems (Sage 200, HubSpot and Excel).
