Tyre Technician / Fitter Peterborough | Up to £32,000 Basic Salary | Day & Back Shifts Are you an experienced Tyre Technician looking for a new opportunity with excellent working conditions and genuine opportunities for progression? We are recruiting for a Tyre Technician / Fitter to join a large, modern automotive preparation facility in Peterborough. You'll be working in a state-of-the-art workshop alongside a team of over 200 skilled automotive professionals, preparing vehicles from some of the world's leading manufacturers, including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen and Audi. Working predominantly with vehicles no older than five years, you'll have access to modern equipment and excellent facilities in a professional, quality-focused environment. The Role - Tyre Technician / Fitter Your responsibilities will include: Removing and refitting vehicle wheels safely and correctly. Replacing worn or damaged tyres with the correct specifications. Balancing wheels and ensuring tyres are fitted to manufacturer standards. Setting tyre pressures in line with manufacturer recommendations. Carrying out puncture repairs in accordance with safety standards. Using modern tyre-fitting equipment and workshop tools. Checking and recording tyre tread depths. Ensuring wheel nuts are tightened to the correct torque settings. Working closely with vehicle technicians to maintain high standards of preparation and quality. What We're Looking For Previous experience in a tyre-fitting or tyre technician role. Good practical knowledge of tyre fitting and repair procedures. A strong understanding of workshop safety and quality standards. A reliable team player with good communication skills. A full UK driving licence. Salary, Hours & Benefits Up to £32,000 basic salary, depending on shift. Day and back shift opportunities. Monday to Friday working pattern. No weekend working. Overtime opportunities available.
