• Review customer account balances and identify overdue payments for timely follow-up.
• Contact customers by phone and email to request payment and resolve outstanding queries.
• Maintain accurate notes and payment records on customer accounts.
• Allocate incoming payments correctly to ensure account balances remain up to date.
• Investigate payment discrepancies and work with relevant colleagues to reach a clear resolution.
• Send account statements, payment reminders and other agreed customer correspondence.
• Prepare clear updates on overdue balances to support day-to-day financial reporting.
• Keep customer credit information organised and up to date for effective account management.

Profile

A successful 'Credit Controller' should have:

• Experience managing customer accounts and following up overdue payments.
• Confidence speaking with customers by phone and writing clear payment correspondence.
• Good attention to detail when updating account records and allocating payments.
