Interim Head of Equipment Sales - Europe & International

12-Month Interim Contract | Midlands

An international manufacturing business is seeking an experienced sales leader to drive performance across its European and international equipment sales operation. Reporting to the executive team, this hands-on interim role will focus on improving sales capability, strengthening commercial processes and delivering sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a multi-channel sales team.
• Improve sales performance, conversion rates and pipeline quality.
• Implement and embed a structured sales playbook.
• Establish CRM best practice and forecasting discipline using HubSpot.
• Support major customer opportunities, distributor relationships and international growth initiatives.
• Work closely with operational, engineering and leadership teams to drive commercial success.

About You

• Proven track record leading and improving B2B sales teams.
• Strong coaching and mentoring capability.
• Experience driving profitable growth through structured sales management.
• Hands-on CRM and pipeline management expertise, ideally HubSpot.
• Background in manufacturing, engineering, industrial products, technical sales or capital equipment environments.
• Comfortable operating in a visible, hands-on leadership role.

Contract Details

• 12-month interim assignment
• Competitive day rate
• Midlands-based with UK and international travel
• Significant on-site presence required, particularly during the initial phases of the assignment.
