Pay: £12.71-£14.09 per hour Job Description: About the role We are currently recruiting for Machine Packing Operatives to join a busy plastic injection moulding manufacturing environment in Blackwood. The role would suit someone who is hands-on, reliable and comfortable working within a fast-paced production environment. Key responsibilities * Starting and stopping machinery safely and efficiently * Monitoring machinery throughout the production process * Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards * Trimming excess plastic from finished products * Packing finished products ready for dispatch * Palletising products and preparing them for storage or transportation * Identifying and reporting any machinery faults or quality issues * Maintaining a clean and organised working area * Following all health and safety procedures * Working as part of a team to meet production requirements Working pattern and benefits * 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern * 2 day shifts followed by 2 night shifts * 6:00am – 6:00pm days * 6:00pm – 6:00am nights * £12.71 – £14.09 per hour * £55.50 weekly attendance bonus * Paid breaks * Overtime opportunities available * Overtime paid at time and a quarter and time and a half About you The ideal candidate will be: * Reliable and punctual * Comfortable working 12-hour shifts, including nights * Happy working in a manufacturing environment * Able to follow instructions and production procedures * Quality-conscious with good attention to detail * Comfortable working on their feet and carrying out practical tasks * A good team player with a positive attitude * Willing to learn and develop within the role
