About the Role

Reed Early Years are currently recruiting on behalf of a nursery within Doncaster that is known for its high-quality early years education, commitment to safeguarding and that has a focus on inspiring young minds.

The nursery is recruiting for a permanent Level 2 practitioner to join their team as early as possible. The ideal candidate will have experience working in early years and a good understanding of play-based learning.

You will be expected to work full-time hours across five days although hours may vary/can be discussed upon application.

What we’re Looking for

• A recognised Level 2 qualification (or above) in Early Years
• Previous experience working within an Early Years setting
• Ability to work the hours required by the setting

Key Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for a group of key children, ensuring their progress is observed, assessed, and supported
• Plan and deliver play-based activities that support children’s physical, social and emotional development
• Work as part of a team, taking feedback and instructions from the nursery manager/room leaders
• Promote a high standard of safeguarding
