About the Role
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a well-established and growing groundworks contractor who are looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor.

The role will manage a portfolio of housing projects in Yorkshire with contract values averaging around £15m.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all surveying and commercial duties across assigned contracts.
• Liaise with Site Foremen, Contracts Managers, Directors, and Clients to ensure projects run smoothly.
• Prepare, submit, and reconcile valuations and variations.
• Attend client and internal meetings, providing accurate commercial updates.
• Oversee procurement and subcontractor management.
• Collate site data, review new information, and assess contract impact.
• Using in-house software and systems

About You

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within housing groundworks is essential.
• Track record or overseeing large developments.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident managing multiple projects independently.
• Proficient with modern construction and commercial software.
