We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable Main Dealer in Stafford for a skilled Vehicle Technician. This is a permanent Vehicle Technician opportunity within a well-established automotive workshop that offers a supportive and professional environment. The Vehicle Technician role provides the chance to enhance your technical skills, including manufacturer accreditation and Electric Vehicle (EV) expertise, within a friendly team dedicated to high standards of service.

40-hour working week, Monday to Friday with alternate Saturday mornings
Duties:
Conduct vehicle health checks using advanced diagnostic equipment
Service vehicles in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer specifications
Diagnose faults and perform additional repairs with customer approval
Complete warranty repairs as per manufacturer standards
Maintain accurate job records and paperwork
Perform road tests to ensure fault rectification
Collaborate effectively with the service and workshop team to uphold high standards of workmanship
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or an equivalent qualification
Proven experience in light vehicle servicing and repair within a dealership or independent garage
Valid UK driving licence
Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
Committed to delivering exceptional quality and workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Eagerness to develop skills through manufacturer training; diagnostic, MOT, and EV experience are advantageous but not essential
Previous experience with specific vehicle manufacturers is desirable
