This is a key leadership role, taking ownership of the finance function and delivering accurate financial reporting, robust controls, and commercial insight to support business growth. Description

• Oversee day-to-day financial control activities to maintain accurate and timely finance information.
• Prepare and review financial reports to give colleagues a clear view of business performance.
• Maintain effective finance processes that support consistent reporting across the business.
• Review financial data, identify variances and provide clear explanations for key movements.
• Work closely with the Accounting & Finance department to deliver reliable management information.
• Manage the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support planning and decision-making.
• Improve finance reporting processes where practical, helping to make information easier to use.
• Provide clear financial insight to support the wider retail operation in Pembroke Dock.

Profile

A successful 'Controller' should have:

• Strong experience in financial control and management reporting.
• Ability to review financial data, investigate variances and explain findings clearly.
• Experience preparing budgets, forecasts and financial plans.
• Confidence producing accurate financial reports for business stakeholders.
• Good understanding of finance processes and how they support reliable reporting.
• Ability to improve reporting processes and maintain organised financial information.

Job Offer

• Permanent Controller position based in Pembroke Dock.
• Salary of £55,000 to £70,000, dependent on the level of experience.
