Private Client Solicitor – Probate & Trusts

The Opportunity

An established law firm in the Plymouth area is looking to recruit an experienced Private Client practitioner with a focus on Probate and Trust work to join its busy Private Client team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor or suitably qualified legal professional with approximately 3–5 years’ PQE and a strong background in probate, estate administration and trusts.

The successful candidate will join an established team, managing a varied caseload and providing a high standard of advice and client service. Working arrangements can be discussed, with potential for hybrid working.

The Role

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied Probate and Estate Administration caseload.

• Advising clients on the administration of estates and associated legal matters.

• Handling trust creation, administration and ongoing trust-related work.

• Preparing and advising on relevant legal documentation.

• Liaising with beneficiaries, executors, trustees and other professional advisers.

• Providing clear, practical advice to clients throughout the process.

• Managing matters efficiently and maintaining high standards of client care.

Requirements

• Approximately 3–5 years’ PQE, or equivalent experience within Private Client.

• Strong practical experience in Probate, Estate Administration and Trust work.

• Ability to manage a caseload independently.

• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

• A professional, organised and client-focused approach.
