HR Advisor Melton Mowbray | Office-Based Salary: Up to £30,000 + Benefits SFR Recruitment Solutions are exclusively recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy and growing organisation based in Melton Mowbray. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys building strong working relationships, providing practical HR support and taking ownership of Employee Relations cases from start to finish. The Role As HR Advisor, you will provide first-line HR guidance and support across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, company policies and best practice. Key responsibilities include: * Managing Employee Relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters * Providing HR advice and support to managers and employees * Conducting investigations and supporting formal HR meetings * Drafting HR correspondence and associated documentation * Supporting probation and performance management processes * Managing family leave cases including maternity, paternity and adoption * Overseeing sickness absence management and Occupational Health referrals * Supporting recruitment, onboarding and induction activities * Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring GDPR compliance * Producing HR reports and monitoring key HR metrics * Supporting employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives * Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement activities About You We're looking for someone who can confidently operate as a generalist HR professional and manage complex Employee Relations matters independently. You will ideally have: * CIPD Level 3 qualification (or equivalent HR experience) * Previous experience as an HR Advisor or HR Generalist * Strong Employee Relations experience, including complex case management * Good working knowledge of UK employment law * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong organisational and administrative abilities * Experience supporting managers on HR policies and procedures * A professional, confident and approachable manner * Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills Highly Desirable * Manufacturing, production or operational environment experience * CIPD Level 5 or currently studying towards further qualifications * Experience using HR systems * Experience supporting HR projects and organisational change What's On Offer? ✅ Salary up to £30,000 ✅ 25 days holiday plus bank holidays ✅ 3% employer pension contribution ✅ Free on-site parking ✅ Ongoing qualification support and development ✅ Full ownership and responsibility within your HR remit ✅ Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm office-based role ✅ Long-term career progression opportunities Important Information This role will suit candidates who have hands-on experience managing Employee Relations cases and are comfortable dealing with complex HR matters.
