An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Stockport. You'll join a collaborative and ambitious team, advising a diverse client base on complex corporate transactions and strategic business matters.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Leading on a variety of corporate transactions, including M&A (buy-side and sell-side)
• Advising on private equity and investment transactions
• Drafting and negotiating shareholder agreements
• Managing group restructures and corporate governance matters
• Building and maintaining long-term client relationships
• Running matters independently from instruction through to completion
• Contributing to the firm's business development and networking activities
• Achieving billing targets while maintaining exceptional client service

About You

We're keen to speak with solicitors who have:

• A minimum of 5 years' PQE in Corporate Law
• Strong technical expertise across M&A and general corporate matters
• Experience managing transactions with minimal supervision
• Commercial awareness and excellent client-facing skills
• A proactive approach to business development
• The ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
