We are currently recruiting Support Workers - Adult Services for an urgent requirement with a local authority, supporting individuals across a range of services including:

Elderly residential and care settings

Adult services supporting people with learning disabilities (LD)

Adult services supporting people with physical disabilities

Community and supported living environments

Pay Rate: £13.26 per hour

Merthyr Tydfil and surrounding areas

What We're Looking For

We are seeking compassionate, reliable and committed individuals who are passionate about supporting others.

Caring and positive attitude

Comfortable supporting vulnerable adults

Reliable, flexible and professional

Willingness to provide personal care when required

Act as a chaperone when attending medical appointments

Some care experience is preferred, whether gained through previous employment, voluntary work, or supporting family members

Please note: Personal care forms an important part of many of these roles and may include supporting individuals with washing, dressing, toileting, medication support, and promoting independence and dignity.

Experience Required

While formal care qualifications are not essential, applicants should have some experience of caring for others. This could be from previous care roles, voluntary work, or personal experience supporting a family member or friend. Full training, induction and ongoing support will be provided.
