Senior Operations Manager - 3PL

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Car allowance + Bonus

Loom Talent are recruiting for an experienced and driven Senior Operations Manager - 3PL to join a fast-paced 3PL operation based in Coventry.

This is an excellent opportunity for a high-calibre operational leader to take ownership of a large-scale and automated warehousing operation within a global 3PL business and supporting a prestigious brand.

The Role

As Senior Operations Manager - 3PL, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day operational performance across a B2B & B2C distribution operation, ensuring service, productivity and cost targets are consistently achieved.

You will play a key role in driving operational efficiency, continuous improvement and team engagement across the site, working closely with senior leadership to shape operational strategy.

The role will have a strong focus on customer service, people development and performance delivery within a demanding 3PL environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale warehouse and logistics operations
• Drive operational performance across productivity, service, quality and cost KPIs
• Develop and mentor operational management teams across multiple shifts and functions
• Ensure customer expectations and SLA requirements are consistently achieved
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the operation
• Manage labour planning, resource allocation and operational budgets
• Maintain high standards across health & safety, compliance and operational discipline
• Work collaboratively with customers and internal stakeholders to support growth and operational success

About You

The successful candidate in the role of Senior Operations Manager - 3PL will have:

• Proven experience within a senior warehousing or logistics leadership role

• A strong background within a 3PL, retail or e-comm logistics

• Experience managing large operational teams within fast-paced distribution settings
• A demonstrable track record of improving operational performance and engagement
• Strong commercial awareness with excellent analytical and decision-making skills
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management capability
• The ability to operate effectively within KPI-driven environments with multiple customer demands
