Healthcare Assistant– HADLEY WOOD

Location: Hadley Wood, Enfield 

Pay rate: £20.00 per hour

Shift pattern:
• Days: 08:00 – 20:00
• Nights: 20:00 – 08:00

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Healthcare  Assistant to support a delightful 5-year-old child in her family home.

Our client lives with her parents and two siblings and enjoys singing, music, and engaging with those around her. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide meaningful one-to-one support and make a real difference to a young child’s quality of life.

About the role

As a Complex Care Assistant, you will provide person-centred care tailored to the client’s individual needs, ensuring her safety, comfort, and wellbeing.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting a young child with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy
• Monitoring and responding appropriately to seizure activity
• Assisting with personal care and daily living activities including school runs
• Providing safe moving and handling support using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Encouraging participation in activities she enjoys, including singing and play-based interactions
• Building a positive relationship with the client and her family
• Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns

Essential requirements

? Experience supporting individuals with Cerebral Palsy
? Experience supporting individuals with Epilepsy
? Competent in Moving and Handling
? Full UK driving licence and confident driver
? Right to work in the UK
? Caring, reliable, and patient nature
