Our client, a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Leeds, is searching for an ambitious Corporate Tax Manager to join its growing tax team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior role within a respected practice that values its people and invests in their long term development. You will manage a varied portfolio of corporate clients, ranging from owner managed businesses to larger groups, while supervising and developing a talented team of tax professionals.

Working closely with partners and directors, you will deliver high quality corporate tax compliance and advisory work, build strong client relationships, and play a genuine part in shaping the future of the department. What is the day-to-day of the role:

• Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients, including compliance and advisory work
• Review corporation tax computations and returns prepared by the team
• Advise on tax planning, reorganisations and transactions
• Supervise, coach and develop junior members of the tax team
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
• ACA, ACCA, CTA or ATT qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax
• Proven experience managing and reviewing the work of others
• Excellent communication skills and a client focused approach
